The purpose of this repository is to make available via web my work, projects, and personal files. Since I am not particularly fond of doing the same thing more than once, and even less of working on something that already exists, or having that happen to anyone else, all my material is typically free software, licensed under the GPL, and so forth. I hold no responsibility for the contents you might find, given the fact that many users have write permissions over the repository and therefore can clearly upload as they wish. In the 25 years since the explosion at Chernobyl, it’s been a constant struggle to confine radioactive materials at the site. After years of ad hoc efforts, work has started on a massive $2 billion structure designed to seal the site for 100 years. The ruins will be dismantled with remote-controlled equipment, preparing them for permanent storage at a future site.
